Alaska Conservation Voters Pressroom

On October 4th, 2006, Alaska Conservation Voters hosted a conservation-minded political forum--the first of its kind in the state of Alaska--with gubernatorial candidates Sarah Palin, Andrew Halcro and Tony Knowles. At the event, moderator Steve McDonald from KTUU TV, Channel 2 asked candidates questions on topics ranging from the Alaska natural gas pipeline to aerial wolf hunting to "bridges to nowhere" funding.
